- To promote heightened awareness among elementary and secondary school teachers and guidance counselors; among principals and school superintendents; prospective college students and their parents; business leaders; governmental agencies; private funding agencies, and the general public of the extraordinary breadth, depth, and excellence of instructional, research, and community service activities taking place at member institutions.
- To enlist the cooperation of businesses, regional, state and federal governments, regional associations, cultural institutions and foundations, where appropriate, in support of the public relations or other activities of LIRACHE applicable to all member institutions.
- To foster member cooperation on issues including but not limited to data collection, library resource sharing, staff interactions, and creation and dissemination of public relations materials.
